Study Shows Nearly One-Third of Human Genome is Involved in Gingivitis
More than 9,000 genes – nearly 30 percent of the genes found in the human body – are expressed differently when a person gets and is treated for gingivitis, according to a recently published in the December 2009 issue of the Journal of Periodontology.
